The first floodlight truck was a 1961 GMC salvage and floodlight truck. It was dedicated on June 11, 1961. The first Captain of the company was Michael Orzano. In 1966 the department decided on a Mack CF Floodlight truck, under then Captain Levi Schneiderman, which saw the most fire duty in the history of the department. Then in 1986 a new Ford Rescue System was designed by then Captain Michael Stiglitz, which was dedicated on April 26, 1987 to a life long member of the department, Ex-Captain Arthur Donnelly. In 1989 the Floodlight Company was also assigned a Command Post van. Then in 2005 a 1996 PL Custom ambulance was refit to replace the van and became the current Command Post vehicle (234), and a second rig for the Floodlight Company, now under the command of Captain Michael Ornauer.
