Santo Caracciolo
Firefighter
Engine 3
End of Watch: February 4, 1956
FF Caracciolo was killed near 225 West Park Ave, where Long Beach Firefighters had responded for a gas leak which filled the building with fumes.

Michael Ornauer
Captain

End of Watch: July 2, 2019
Captain Michael Ornauer died of 9/11-related cancer resulting from the mutual aid response to the WTC attack on September 11, 2001.

Raymond J. Ellmer
Lieutenant

End of Watch: March 23, 2024
Firefighter Ellmer succumbed to fire-related cancer. He served as a member of the Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department and was posthumously promoted to Lieutenant.

Philip Cohen
Captain
Engine Company 1
End of Watch: August 27, 1975
Captain Philip Cohen suffered major injuries during a collapse at a fire scene and was paralyzed in March 1970. He died from his injuries in August 1975.

Morton Golden
Lieutenant
Career Force – Engine 3
End of Watch: October 29, 1968
Lt Golden died of a heart attack after completing his tour of duty, following a working fire. He was a career Lieutenant with the Long Beach FD.
